How to Invite Your Family and Friends to Visit Your Website |
1. You can share your site from the My Scrapbook screen (if you've already created at least one scrapbook).
- Login to your Scrapwow account. Click on Site Manager. Click on My Scrapbooks.
- Click Share and on the next screen you'll be able to send an announcement if you have names in your Address Book(see tutorial: Setting up your Address Book).

2. You can share your site from the 'edit mode' inside a scrapbook. This is when you are editing or creating a scrapbook for the first time.
- Login to your Scrapwow account. Click Site Manager. Click My Scrapbooks.
- Select the Scrapbook you want to edit (or if you are creating a scrapbook for the first time, you will be in Edit mode already).
- Click Share and use the Address Book to select and send invitations.

3. You can share your website by sending your URL to family and friends using your own email service. (Your URL is your website address).
- To find your URL: Login to your Scrapwow account and go into the Site Manager. Click on My Website.
- There is a field that says, Site Name. If it is blank, enter something and click Save Changes. You have just created your URL.
- Right under the Site Name, there will be a domain address that looks something like: http://www.scrapwow.com/site/livesite3 (this is our demo site URL, yours will be what you picked)
- Copy and paste your URL into emails using your own email service. For example, "Come see my new website, simply click on or paste this link into your browser: http://www.scrapwow.com/site/livesite3"
Please note: If you have password protected your site, sending your URL with your password via your own email account is the only way to share your site at this time.
To find the URL of a specific scrapbook, login to the Site Manager, click Preview My Website, click on Scrapbooks, go to the specific scrapbook you are interested in and once it is in it's own browser, copy the URL in the browser. It's a long string, but it's the exact address of that scrapbook and you can send just this to family and friends. |
