Quick Pages - for Quick and Easy Scrapbook Layouts
Complete an Entire Scrapbook in Less than an Hour!
by Bonnie Evans
I love the process of taking my time to create a page layout. On the other hand, sometimes I just want to share my photos with family and friends in the quickest way possible and desire a little more than just sending them a photo. Fortunately for many of us, Quick Pages allow us to do just that and they can be used with just about any graphics program available. Quick Pages are also one of the easiest ways to get started in digital scrapbooking.
So, what is a Quick Page? A Quick Page is a pre-designed scrapbook layout that is missing one thing - your photos! (See lower left image). It's like a picture frame that you buy in the store except you add photos digitally to make it your own (See lower right image). And just like the picture frame you purchased in a store, Quick Pages are simple and easy to use. In fact, I've finished an entire scrapbook in a mere hour by using them!

The short video below shows you how to download a zip file using Internet Explorer - click on the video to play it. (You can also download zip files using other browsers like Firefox or Mac OSX.) After you complete your download you'll need to unzip it using Windows Explorer or other application on your computer. Mac users can also unzip files.
Below is a video tutorial on how to use a quick page with the popular digital scrapbooking software, Scrapbook Factory. If you don't have Scrapbook Factory, no worries, you can use just about any software that can handle a .jpg or .png file such as Photoshop Elements, Scrapbooks Plus, Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer, Print Shop, Print Master and many more.
As you can see, Quick Pages are one of the quickest ways to get started in digital scrapbooking and a great way to familiarize yourself with your own graphics program. Many websites, like Scrapwow, offer them for downloads, whether samples like the one above, or in collections like the one we've put together for you below. I hope you'll give it a try and see how easy it is for yourself.
Happy Scrapping!
