Other frequently asked questions:
QUESTION: I need help on how to get my pictures to work on the quickpages. I have followed the instructions on 'Optimizing Photos for the Internet", but when I add the photo on to my quickpage, it is teeny tiny and when I increase the size by pulling on a corner square, my photo is just a pixalated mess. I have tried this several times with several photos and still have this problem every time. My photos look fine before I move them.
ANSWER: How to use photos with quick pages
QUESTION: Is Adobe photoshop elements a requirement to use scrapwow downloads?
ANSWER: Adobe Photoshop is NOT required to use our free digital scrapbooking downloads. You can use any graphics program that can use and manipulate .jpg and .png files. This means just about any graphics software will work. Even out of the box scrapbooking software like Scrapbook Factory, etc.
QUESTION: I have a Mac, will the Scrapwow site work for me?
ANSWER: If you run Firefox/Mozilla or Netscape [for Mac] you should have no problems with editing your site. Firefox is free and can be found here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html. Unfortunately, our website editing tool does not support Safari or IE for MAC at this time, only Firefox/Mozilla or Netscape.
As for downloading our free kits: 99% of our freebies are zipped files. Newer Macs have a built-in utility for unzipping files. Older Macs will need something like 'Stuffit'. But once the files are downloaded they work with any graphics program that supports .jpg's and .png's.
QUESTION: How do I share my Scrapwow site with family and friends?
ANSWER: There are at least two ways to share your online photos/ Scrapwow site with family and friends.
QUESTION: After I develop a site and scrapbook pages, can I print them to put them into a
album, not just have them on the web to share with family and friends?
ANSWER: This is a two part answer. All the kits we provide our members, both the free monthly and the numerous Unannounced Bonuses, are print quality 300 dpi. The websites themselves however are set up for the best online performance they can possibly be, so, while printable, they're not print quality. The website pages also contain left side navigation which might not be interesting for a paper scrapbook.
QUESTION: How do I open a pdf file - the sketchbook and quotes - after downloading them?
ANSWER: You need a .pdf reader to open a pdf. If you don't have a pdf reader you can get the most popular one, Adobe Acrobat Reader, for free by visiting this page:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Once installed you would simply go back to the download page OR to the file on your computer if you have downloaded it and click on it. The pdf reader will then open it.
