I've just about decomatized myself from our (E&H) trip to Holland last weekend. Note to self: coach is fine, as long as you actually catch as mch sleep as possible, starting right after departure.
Evelyn was able to just sleep where ever really. When we got shoood off the coach to go on the ferry Evelyn just slept another hour and a half on one of the benches, while I guarded our bags. Not something you want to do at 2 in the morning...
Me being the evil mother I am sent evelyn to school after coming home monday morning. But she knew that before we left.
12 hour coach trips are great for sock knitting - I got a nice green pair of ''whitby'' socks done. They came from the book 'knitting on the road' so it was the perfect occasion for them.
I'm still keeping up with project 365 sofar. it helps im making my yahoo students do the same so i am forced to make the weekly page templates. good incentive for me. Still not past the week 11 mark from last year though.
so I give you week 3 and 4
as for my socks.... Im trying hard to finish all works in progresses before the end of the month, eventhough one has two months two finish.
I just want to kee u and start on february's new ones. I have picked two socks according to Feb's requirements: one sock needs to be by Yarnissima (a dutch lady from close to where I'm from) and one has to be pink. I will also be test knitting some gloves for Julia, same designer as Jon's black gloves. The rest of the month I will try to catch up on other projects but socks.
Jonathan has discovered a nice teashop on the internet (www.jingtea.com) and has moved into tea drinking mode. He received hsi parcel on saturday and has been testing all the rosebuds and interesting looking leaves and looks quite happy.
What brought this on was probably him being awake in the middle of the night from drinking coffee (or so he thinks)
Hi! Just dropping by to say hello! I am continuing on with my 365 project and am right up to date. I will have the book printed out at year's end! At least that is the plan! Stilll winter - ish here. But the snow is going fast.
