Monday

I know its a long time ago, but can you remember the surprise I  promised?? It is now official: I am a designer (exclusively) at www.divinedigital.com

before you go dashing off and checking my 'shop' out, there's nothing in it yet, as I cant figure out yet how to put things actually IN the shop. English manual turns out to be a bit much on my english vocabulary but I will get there at some point and let you know here :)

As you can see, my name appears twice in the list. Once on my own, to sell my templates (and whatever I dare take on in future) and once with my friend (and boss) Laura, selling the 'one month at a time' project. I create a double page template, she creates the minimaterial kit to go with it. just watch my space ;)

 

I had lunch today at Kingfisher's. first time

Also first time was that I met up with Lisa there. untill today i only knew her as 'Jack's mum'. She wanted to know about my experience with Evelyn travelling abroad, as her ex is now moving too. She is really nice and I hope to see more of her :) her son Jack is in the same class as Myles.

 

Tuesday

We are trying to get our garden looking more and more like a garden. My flowers look gorgeous, and the terras is extending daily. partly because all the weeds got taken out from between the tiles (oh look, there they are, i didnt think we had this many tiles) and partly because Jon has knocked away the stone bench that was there. We now have more room to put our lovely garden table + chairs. weather permitted, we are eating outside. Jon killed the slugs that were hiding under the bench. by stepping on them without shoes on. EEEEW

 

Wednesday

Still enjoying my selection of dutch food that came back in the past weeks. nothing better than sitting in the sunshione (for as long as that lasted) with a cat on my lap, view of my flowerbaskets, cup of tea and a stroopwafel.  I went to school today (St Georges) to drop of some french books that we still had. I hate throwing books away, but we definately didnt want to keep them. i thought the French department might want them. The fact that the teachers were fighting over who got to take them home first was a good sign?? had to sneak past Mr Watson, as i was wearing jeans, but managed to get to the drama studio unseen. did some catching up with Karen Hollick, who was absolutely bored as she didnt have to teach but wasnt allowed to go home. She decided to sneak out for lunch early. typical : we walked into mr Watson ....

Sandra came by (for the stroopwafels??) and we had coffee outside.

 

Thursday

I knew from my schoolvisit yeaterday that my payslip had been sent in mail. I didnt expect two letters from St Georges today though. The payslip one was obvious, but i didnt dare open the other one. what if it, yet again, says: sorry but no thank you??

BUT

(after being brave and opening it)

they want me to come in for an interview next week wednesday

YAY

keep your fingers crossed for me that i can come back next year??

 

At least that gave me some inspiration back to touch some pictures. not done that since we went to whitby (four weeks ago??)
