QUESTION:Q - Where are my download files?
ANSWER: You can find the download files in My Downloads. Click on the file that corresponds to your software and computer type in the Downloads column.
QUESTION: What software can I use with Scrapwow's digital scrapbooking kits?
ANSWER: You can use any graphics program that can use and manipulate .jpg and .png files. This means just about any graphics software will work. Here is a short list: Photoshop (all), Paint Shop, Scrapbook Factory, Scrapbooks Plus, Print Master, Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Designer, Print Shop, and many many more. Email us if you have a question about your particular software. See some of these softwares in action by clicking the above links.
QUESTION: I have a Mac, will the Scrapwow site work for me?
ANSWER: We have many Mac members that enjoy our digital scrapbooking kits. If you join Scrapwow and want to set up a scrapbooking website, then you'll need to use Firefox/Mozilla to edit your home page. This is a free download and can be found here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html. Unfortunately, our website editing tool does not support Safari or IE for MAC at this time, only Firefox/Mozilla.
As for downloading our free kits: 99% of our freebies are zipped files. Newer Macs have a built-in utility for unzipping files. Older Macs will need something like 'Stuffit'. But once the files are downloaded they work with any graphics program that supports .jpg's and .png's.
QUESTION: After I develop a site and scrapbook pages, can I print them to put them into a album, not just have them on the web to share with family and friends?
ANSWER: This is a two part answer. All the kits we provide our members, both the free monthly and the numerous Unannounced Bonuses, are print quality 300 dpi. The websites themselves however are set up for the best online performance they can possibly be, so, while printable, they're not print quality. The website pages also contain left side navigation which might not be interesting for a paper scrapbook.
QUESTION: How do I open a pdf file - the sketchbook and quotes - after downloading them?
ANSWER: You need a .pdf reader to open a pdf. If you don't have a pdf reader you can get the most popular one, Adobe Reader, for free by visiting this page:
Once installed you would simply go back to the download page OR to the file on your computer if you have downloaded it and click on it. The pdf reader will then open it.
